Banana Slug- Butler Valley Loop

The annual Banana Slug Series is an RCMBA event and occurs the second Saturday of every month from January through May. This winter riding series was developed to help riders keep in shape through the winter in a fun, organized group setting. These mixed road and gravel rides are non-supported and timed.

Macktown Volunteer Work Day

Come join us for some minor trail maintenance followed by a group ride once the work is done! Tools will be provided. Please bring your gloves, water, and of course your bike! Meet at the Murray Road parking lot. Please park mindfully and be careful of oncoming traffic. Tell a friend! Hope to see you there!

RCMBA Workday in McKay

Join RCMBA and the Volunteer Trail Stewards for a collaborative workday in McKay! We'll be finishing up the last bank turn on the Redwood Acres Loop to make the trail "race-ready" for a future HCMBT event!

We're looking for 15 volunteers to complete the last section of the upper trail!!! We'll be moving and placing crushed rock and fine-tuning some corners.

Meet at Redwood Fields at 9am for a project briefing and to load up tools. We'll then head over to the worksite at Redwood Acres.

Lunch will be provided to volunteers at noon, so please register so we can plan food accordingly!

RCMBA Trip to Gold Beach

Come join us on a trip up to Gold Beach, OR just 3 hours up the highway to check out some of the back country trails that Wild River Coast Mountain Bike Association (WRCMBA) has been working on. We will meet up with members from WRCMBA, learn about the trails, and then do some shuttling on the Pine Grove and Fritsche Cabin Trails. The plan is to camp on the Rogue River area somewhere, more details to come. In the meantime, we would appreciate it if you can RSVP for this trip using this link. Below is a video that showcases the Gold Beach trails and the hard work that WRCMBA has been doing to establish and maintain these trails.

BLM Paradise Royale Trail Work Day

Join the BLM, RCMBA, and Friends of the Lost Coast for National Public Lands Day on Paradise Royal Mountain Bike Trail and the terrain park conducting trail maintenance. All tools and gloves will be provided. Wear pants, long sleeve shirt and boots with good traction and ankle support. Bring refillable water bottle, a water jug will be on site for refills. BLM will provide a Mexican fiesta style lunch (chili verde), free t-shirts, and free camping for volunteers at Tolkan Campground the night prior or after the event.

BLM Lacks Creek Trail Day

Join the BLM and RCMBA for National Public Lands Day at lack Creek for a day of trail maintenance. All tools will be provided. We will be working on making improvements to the Jump Line trail. Please bring lunch, water, gloves, and work boots. Breakfast snack will be provided. Lastly bring your bike for some party laps when the work is done! See you out there!
